Mexico

Mexico Family Camp was my first mission trip outside of the states. Amor Ministries, based in San Diego, CA, gathers people of all ages to cross the border and pitch tents on a plot of land called Camp Hacienda about 5 miles West of Tecate. It truly is a humbling experience to be immersed in Mexican culture and work together building homes for the poverty stricken community. The trip holds a very special place in my heart, as I have made lifelong relationships with the people who return year after year. I hope to continue this tradition for years to come.
