Nature
From a young age, I have always loved having alone time. Even when my family would go camping together, I would look for the first opportunity to get lost in the woods and let my imagination run free. A lot of that same motivation is present when I take photographs of nature. Sometimes you just need to get away from people to be able to think more clearly.
Sometimes it can seem hard to find places where mother nature is undisturbed, but I believe that when you reorient yourself from what is typical you can find it in even smaller places. There are images here that I took just paces from a highway in a patch of overgrowth. When I look for these places, I experiment with the composition and lighting to best represent what I see in my head.
